French & Saunders ‘Titting About’ at Fresh Air Studios
It hasn’t been an easy year for many due to the Coronanavirus pandemic, but thankfully there have been some positives. One of those for us, and for fans of French & Saunders, has been the new Audible exclusive podcast ‘Titting About’, which we’re proud to say was recorded at Fresh Air Studios’ Plymouth production centre.
Plymouth native, Dawn French, lives in Cornwall and is no stranger to Fresh Air Studios, having recorded here many times, so with Jennifer Saunders living in Devon, it made our studios the perfect choice for the podcast recording.
Dawn and Jennifer along with Listen Entertainment's experienced Comedy Producer Simon Nicholls, Production Coordinator Tamara Shilham (both based in Cornwall), and our own podcast studio team enjoyed three days of ‘Titting About’ to help create six half-hour podcast episodes, each with a different theme. If you’ve enjoyed the BBC radio collaborations from French & Saunders over the years, you’ll love these no-holds-barred podcasts featuring their unique brand of conversational silliness and light-hearted banter.
I may have to sign up for an Audible premium account. Because French & Saunders (@ferrifrump @Dawn_French) have a podcast there, and it's called "TITTING ABOUT" and that's kind of everything I ever wanted out of life... https://t.co/arZMD8pL4o pic.twitter.com/Ol9apVLWfe— Nicole Campos @ ???? The series was recorded in studio 2, which is our main podcast production studio, often used for ‘talk shows’ and round table discussions. Fresh Air Studios’ CEO Paul Philpott said, “We are really delighted that the production team chose Fresh Air Studios as their podcast recording studio and look forward to seeing this series become a new member of the classic British comedy scene. It was extremely good fun to work on, and I can see it’s already creating quite a stir on social media – make sure you check it out!”
The podcasts were released this week as an exclusive Audible Original and they’re being described as “the antidote to 2020” – goodness knows, we could all do with one of those!
