Fresh Air Studios has completed recording audio for a series of innovative software products designed to teach the art of Dressage.

Designed by Equitech Software Ltd, the products entitled “Dressage Divas”, “Perfect Ponies” and “Equitech Advantage Eventing” are aimed at helping riders of all ages and abilities to improve their riding performance.

The scripts are based on the official British Dressage syllabus under licence by British Eventing, and feature the voice of Sally Williams for the UK/Europe range.

Audio was recorded in Fresh Air Studios digital recording suite, and was post produced, edited, encoded, and supplied to the software development team in .wav format ready to integrate into the build.

Specialist encoding and audio optimisation techniques were used to generate files which produced excellent sound quality, yet retain a small file size: hence, improving software performance and memory overheads.

The new 2008/2009 series was also recorded with US voiceovers, and will be used by Equitech Software Ltd to expand their market at an international level.

Fresh Air Studios first produced audio for the Devon based software company back in 2004, and is pleased to be an integral part of the success of the software range.
